Recording of church clock striking 2. Recorded from my back garden across from the highest church in britain, in haslingden rossendale.

I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.

Series of mixes of bells and marching percussion. Like listening to bells at the approaches to hell or hades. Like a computer game mix. Rendered @48khz 32bit fp in reaper for all you morphagene fans out there. Now you know where to go. . . Enjoy!.

Here are the bells of our local town church of eglisau in eglisau switzerland as they strike 12 noon on august 23 2019. At the end of the recording you can just hear the children playing at the nearby school. 96khz 24bit stereo.

A sort of renaissancey version of the first two lines of ding dong merrily on high, composed on cubase with samples from the edirol orchestral plug in (a bit of harp, french horn, alto flute and violin with kettle drum and sleigh bell percussion). This is a recording that was carried out in longone sabino, a small town located in italy in the province of rieti, where the bells are heard ringing during the feast of saints cosma and damiano which takes place on september 26th. Recorded with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

You can hear people in the park next to york minster chatting, walking, laughing and there's distant city noises. Then, around halfway through the recording the bells start to ring out for midday.
